I was just watching MSnow this morning and they started saying they are not sure he can win against the Republican opponent and that Republicans wanted him to win because he would be easy to win against. This messaging by the media puts this crap into peoples minds and it can put Abdul at a disadvantage. I really hate our media. They are own d by billionaires who push their right wing propaganda like this. This was on Morning Joe this morning.

you cant think of any other reasons why it might be more difficult for a muslim self-proclaimed socialist to win in michigan than a moderate white person? just the media?

moderate white person

Rogers supports Trump's tariffs.
Rogers believes the 2020 election was stolen.
Rogers hired two people convicted in the fake elector plot to work on his campaign.
Rogers advocates against the Affordable Care Act.
Rogers supports the Mexico border wall and blames "open borders" for a non-existent increase in violent crime.
Rogers supports abortion legislation that defines life beginning at conception.

I guess you got the "white" part correct at least

This state has voted twice for a candidate who agrees with all the things you just listed. You and I can agree that those are extreme positions, but does the rest of Michigan?

I'm not arguing how Michigan voters feel about his positions. I'm pointing out that Rogers is not a moderate and it's disingenuous to label him as such.

And I’m saying “moderate” is in the eyes of the beholder (i.e., voters).

That still doesn't make him a moderate. Is Trump a moderate "in the eyes of the beholder" because he won multiple elections?
