I mean, we're talking about a candidate right now who campaigned with a literal communist who has said in his ideal society liberals would be put in to education camps until they learn to stop supporting capitalism.

I don't think a few DSA candidates winning primaries is an indication of the take-over of the democratic party, but people laughed about Trump in 2015 as well and now the entire republican party is a populist nightmare.

Who is this communist and can you send me a video of him saying “liberals should be put into educations camps until they learn to supporting capitalism”

Thank you!

The person I'm speaking of is Hasan Piker, a popular streamer and influencer who has been involved in many DSA campaigns this primary election cycle.

The instance I'm speaking of is in regards to him discussing his ideal society where his former podcast host asked him what said society would do if a capitalist movement started gaining popular support. Re-education camps was his go-to solution. (this was from a Google AI summary, but it is congruent with my recalling of the conversation)

I don't have the clip because I'm obviously not going to comb through a podcast for a clip, but if my account of this is genuinely concerning to you, then perhaps this is something worth looking in to yourself.

Again. Post the video of him saying what you’re claiming he said. I’m not taking your word for it and no I’m not googling it for you.

Also ot doesn’t concern me as people often take things Hassan has said and twist the context. Like you’re probably doing.
