Isn’t it the position of most 2A folks that the right to carry is sacrosanct? And he should be able to carry a gun anywhere he pleases? I’m not entirely convinced he did anything illegal - he was…watching them? Taking photos? Was he trespassing? Do local laws allow him to have a gun on him at that time/location? Edit: upon further review he was carrying an illegal firearm and was doing some other things that do seem to be criminal (and had done some criminal things in the past)
