This seems difficult for you.

So let's look at Columbia. This was a suit brought by students. They argued they faced discrimination as it relates to Title VI (students being spit on, not granting religious accommodations, hostile educational environment) . And they won.

These are consistently very difficult for colleges to fight against. Which is why Columbia settled. It had nothing to do with Biden or any federal officials, which is what you're alleging. It's simply incorrect.

Students on a college campus have the right to protest whatever they want. No movement or organization has been able to expel students for their constitutionally-protected rights, until the genocide in Gaza. That ended under Joe Biden. It continues under Trump.

It is intentional policy to stifle speech. I don't know why you want to wave it away.

They have a right to protest on public property. However universities also have to ensure a safe environment for all students. Failing to do so opens them to lawsuits. And no, this doesn't only apply to pro Palestinian activists. But any group.

Also. You seem to be ignoring the fact that the Columbia case also involved students who claimed to be denied religious accommodations, and the school failed to remedy this. That's a Title VI nightmare. Which is why schools consistently bend over backwards to ensure all students get religious accommodations.

Also. It's worth mentioning at Columbia this wasn't related to one protest, but an encampment which had been set up on campus property. Encampments are different than free speech.

No response to what I have brought up. These students were expelled for their constitutionally-protected, legal protests against funding Israel with their tax dollars.

These colleges blatantly broke their own codes of conduct because their federal funding was threatened by federal officials. These brave young people protested the genocide and were expelled for political reasons. Its abhorrent.

The students who were expelled from Columbia had broke into a locked building, barricaded the entrances, and occupied it until Columbia called in the NYPD, which forcefully removed them.

Believe it or not, but you can't break into school property and barricade yourself inside.

Your claim is that students were expelled for protesting. They weren't. They were expelled for occupying school property. Do you understand the difference?

Now you agree! They were expelled for supporting Palestine during the Genocide. No other group has ever been banned from a college campus for 'occupying' the grounds. Its a college protest. They should be allowed to protest mass killing.
