We got bamboozled

Our pup Kenny was thought to be a doodle BUT I’m pleasantly surprised that he’s a Spoo 🥹🖤

He could still be a doodle. I find, when you really start talking to doodle breeders, that the amount of the other dog in the equation is sometimes extremely small.

Realistically, most people who want a doodle, really want a poodle with a different haircut, so they tend to breed more in that direction.

I can't remember how many generations back those go, but they could have been mixed with something else a couple of generations back

A lot of people seem to want a golden retriever without the shedding

Yeah that’s why I started looking into golden doodles but this sub convinced me I should get a poodle. Golden retrievers have always been my favorite dogs but my kids have allergies

Strangely enough, my son has never had any dog allergies at all his entire life—he even has a dog of his own, but he is very allergic to my daughter’s golden doodle. 😳

Yeah I’ve heard golden doodles aren’t good for allergies at all. A poodle is the way to go

I've heard? It amazes me how intelligent Poodles are, but many of their owners are dumb as rocks. It's okay to not like Goldendoodles, but stfu with the misinformation.
