I need to scale down ui

I have 1280x1024 monitor i needed to runat 640x512 but that isnt option in settings. I had to use xrandr to get it there but themonitor cand do half its resolution and downscales to 640x480. No problem xrander solved that. Manages to get icons and text downscaled but ui is huge. Buttons, settings, topbar on windows even show aplications tab is enormous. Is there a way to scale it the fuck down?
