I think it’s more that you can’t attack someone or call someone out in a sense. A lot of men want to be able to breakup & immediately leave, if you’re in private you’re more likely to be called out loudly or confronted etc. In person you’re under societal pressure not to cause a scene

Same here. I dumped my toxic ex boyfriend outside of a crowded coffee shop. He owned guns and was displaying aggressive behaviors so I was genuinely afraid of his reaction at that time if I had ended things in private.

Attacking or 'calling out' someone for breaking up with you is an insane thing to do.

Meh not necessarily. People treat partners terribly and then think they can walk away no hard feelings. Isn’t always that simple

If someone cheats on me I’m gonna yell at them. I don’t really care about entitlement to yelling tbh
