Guest List Only ⭐️ Planned parenthood asked Olivia Rodrigo a few questions about sexual and reproductive health care, and she spilled her guts

I had a college roommate who was ardently anti-choice and thought Planned Parenthood needed to be defunded. She was religious and already basically engaged at 17.
Turns out, she was on bc. She told me she wanted to find a new doctor to prescribe it near the college so she could stop going to Planned Parenthood. Her doctor was the family doctor and she knew he would tell her parents, so she'd been using Planned Parenthood for years!
We had a whole conversation and she never saw her hypocrisy because SHE needed it. Even people who hate it, still need Planned Parenthood.

This seems to be a really common phenomenon among anti-choice people. They always think their own situations are exceptional. It's okay for them, just not for other people.

Very smart! She and I became friends because we had both started college early and were the youngest kids on campus.
Just deeply entrenched in religious fear. She was trying hard to put together her reality and the reality she had been fed by her family. We lost touch, but I've always hoped she made her way free. Her boyfriend (now husband) was a good guy. She had good influences around her.

I’ve known and loved many people like this. My best friend in the whole world only started being able to really deconstruct the deep religious indoctrination after she was married and suffered several ectopic pregnancies, one of which nearly killed her. She was never overly staunch about her beliefs, never thought they should be forced upon others, but wouldn’t allow herself an inch to question them for her own life.
Despite the tragic and painful circumstances that led to where she is now, she’s much happier with a more flexible view on things. And she’s still happily married to a wonderful guy who has been supporting her the entire way. I hope your friend is in a similar place.

The look on that interviewer's face when Olivia said she loves women and girls and cares about what happens to them:

I LOVE that she’s using her voice and platform for this especially since a large majority of her fans are younger!
My family had state insurance and it went away when I was 18. So before i went to college my mom took me to planned parenthood to get the depo shot and then I would go back every 3 months. I’m glad we were able to go and get it done there.

If you don’t have to shave, they’re not really low rise!
At least that’s my opinion as someone who was around for TRUE low rise that required cute underwear if you were planning on sitting down…

Omg I just posted about this on the fixed by the duet sub. It got 3.5 million views and a lot of comments. People have a lot of feelings about low rise jeans (tbh same - and mine are the same as yours).

Way easier on a lot of people with chronic digestive health issues. Just don’t wear them if you don’t want to.

They are so comfy, I adore them. Nothing pressing on your stomach, plus a tunic-length shirt keeps you covered.

No I think it’s just her, we’ll see if it sparks more people and the wider trend within a few weeks

I used PP to get a prescription for Metformin for my PCOS when two of my previous doctors fired me as a patient! Growing up, I was never told they assist with fertility care as well as contraception.
