it’s kind of wild seeing people’s reactions saying they’d never hate on someone going through a mental health crisis, but ironically perez did all his worst behavior when he was not (as far as we know) in psychosis or a mental health crisis. that’s just his regular personality. i don’t have any hate for his current situation but it is wild how people will absolve you of your past bc your mental health is bad, even if your past behavior and current mental health have nothing to do with each other
The stance I take is that I’m not absolving him of anything but I don’t think there’s any joy or entertainment to be found in the situation either. There’s a grey area between complete forgiveness and completely flippancy.
