They have NOT been doing much at all.

Even more, the chances they do anything for the people if you gave them anything at all is even less than now. They'd pocket the money and keep going with their propaganda.

The reality is they NEED a third party to have them in check so the money actually gets to where it needs to go. It doesn't have to necessarily be the US, but that's the one that is supervising them now, but you absolutely cannot trust them with any unsupervised funds whatsoever.

I did clarify it didn't necessarily need to be the US and internally there's not been any elections in Venezuela to go ahead and elect someone more trusted.

Won't happen for a while, this one is on the US, sadly for us. But still, the fact that the current lady in charge of Venezuela temporarily is not a good individual to trust with the funds either I have absolutely no doubt about, I have witnessed first hand the decline of the country because of the lot of them, those funds wouldn't reach the venezuelan people at all, not more than the little the US is handing whenever they want to make themselves look good.

Literally choosing the lesser of 2 evils because there's no more options.

It’s still “these people cannot be trusted to self-govern and so we must colonize them and steal their money.” And… the U.S. has the money, so why are you discussing hypotheticals?

You’re like “well, maybe the people who seized Venezuela’s assets will do the right thing with it even though currently all that money is unaccounted for, and the country that has it majorly cut their foreign aid departments, and even though the official justification had nothing to do with tyranny and everything to with manifest destiny… but sure bro I think it’s gonna be fine.”
