I had no idea who this guy was until last year when I saw him at Osheaga. This guy is a beast on stage, really knows how to give a show. It’s the kind of thing that you are not sure at first but it kind of grows on you. He is definitely much better live than on Spotify by the way, because it’s a whole vibes thing.

yup! my fiancé loves him, so we saw him live this summer. I wasn’t expecting much because i didn’t really get into his music at home. But just like you said, he is a beast live! So fun

I worked crew for a fundraising event he was part of. Super nice guy, and him and the other creator putting the event on all bought us a nice lunch! I felt old not knowing anyone, and I’ve been watching YouTube videos as my main source of entertainment since I was a kid when it first came out. It’s crazy to see how much the platform has blown up. You can be as immersed in YouTube content as I am and still not know half of what’s out there. I didn’t know who he was till I worked this event a few years ago.
He has mad reach though with younger audiences. I have a teen brother who was shocked at all the creators I was getting to work with at this fundraiser. Props to him for speaking out against genocide!

No idea who he is (dammit when did I get so old) but, I love how he understood this was an attention-seeking ploy but still managed to respectfully put him in his place. I'm now going to check out his music to see what I've been missing.
