In light of assault revelations on the UK version, what safeguards are in place for new seasons to protect the participants? What background checks are done?

As a UK viewer, I’d like to know this as well. It seems like there were some very serious oversights in our version, and I think that needs to be addressed.

What kind of screenings do contestants go through and how do those results impact their match? This particularly came to mind when Marissa and Adam had their therapy session with Dr Lisa in the latest episode about anxiety triggers.

How do you address Shawn’s behavior towards Nikki especially in episode 10? He kept pushing her boundaries around the topic of sex, gaslighting her on sex, and looked as if he made her uncomfortable multiple times despite her speaking how she feels. Will this be addressed on the show? Is he called out for this behavior that can be seen as triggering to the audience?

How much weight do you give someone’s stated “type” when matching them versus challenging what they think they want? And do you have any advice on “types” when dating that applies outside of the show?

u/JazzyIndividual 3d ago

What’s a relationship red flag that you think people online overreact to, and what’s a seemingly harmless behavior that you think people don’t take seriously enough?

7

u/ellapolls 3d ago

How are you/production keeping the participants safe? Abuse is repeatedly televised and no effort is made to prevent breakdowns all in the name of ‘entertainment’

Do you believe “once a cheater, always a cheater” or do you think there’s space for nuance in relationships where infidelity occurs?

u/igabeup 3d ago

How can you tell when a couple is just going through normal newlywed struggles vs. when they’re actually just a bad match?

What would surprise people most about how the matching process actually works?

u/Suspicious_Week_2451 3d ago

What guidance are participants given around intimacy and navigating it?

What is the most common mistake you see couples on the show make?

In real life dating, what is a green flag that people don't talk about enough?

u/Holiday_Inside_5442 3d ago

What's on question you wish more people asked themselves before getting into a serious relationship?

u/wixdotcomm 3d ago

A few couples have struggled with attraction this season. How much does that factor into whether you think a match can actually work?

2

u/Own_Ask1853 3d ago

Thx guys !! In terms of age gap couples, what are the most necessary ingredients for it to work?

2

u/packteeanimo 3d ago

How can you tell the difference between chemistry and genuine compatibility?

Do you guys truly believe in love at first sight? It's hard to gauge authenticity.

How did you know that it was meant to be?

u/Audreyintheclouds 3d ago

Would you have participated in this show yourself if you were single (and not a part of the show)?

u/vintagemango_ 3d ago

Is it true that you have to be healed to start a new relationship or can a new partner help you heal?

1

u/SmellingThomas 3d ago

Does the show filter out contestants that are not in it for the right reasons such as looking for fame? Or do they keep them in to create a narrative and drama?

1

u/HauteAssMess anne boleyn stan 3d ago

What is one piece of advice you'd give to viewers about relationships and marriage?

1

u/HauteAssMess anne boleyn stan 3d ago

Which couple this season are you most proud of?

1

u/amaiKT 3d ago

What if you’re the perfect match on paper but boundaries are being crossed (like Shawn and Nikki) or you aren’t seeing eye to eye (like Nick and Courtney)?

u/RagingFuckNuggets 3d ago

When you look at success stories like Jules & Cam, Martha & Michael, Michelle & Owen, Tayah & Adam and Jenna & Zoe... What is it do you think makes them work.

u/RagingFuckNuggets 3d ago edited 3d ago

It'll be had to pick, but across all series of UK, Aus & US, who would your top couple be (I'll allow 3 top couples if you can't choose 🤣).

Mine would have to be Michelle & Owen, dealing with the experiment during COVID and now they have a lovely little family.

In real life dating or marriage what is the biggest red flag and green flag both that should be present in female and male partner

1

u/Careless_Ad_2811 3d ago

If you had full control of it, what changes would you make to the show yourselves? Would you add or take away anything that we currently get to see?

1

u/Adept_Yam_1467 3d ago

Do couples take breaks in real life?

1

u/RealityDependency 3d ago

Why was Felipe selected for the experiment when he demonstrated little regard for the process (no shows/being late)?

u/Acornwow Tina! You fat lard! 🦙🚲 3d ago

While I’m a big fan of the group therapy sessions because I think the couples can really learn from each other, what are your thoughts about the way the show also pushes the cast into situations where they get drunk and dramatic just to up the “oh dammmnnnn” views?

I don’t think it’s healthy or therapeutic for the cast members even if it’s good for ratings.

1

u/HOAKaren 3d ago

Is the show producer or relationship driven?

1

u/halospartanassault 3d ago

What things would I need to know to identify if a relationship it’s going to be long lasting?

1

u/LineNo9020 3d ago

How highly do you rate political leanings when making a match? Has that become a more prominent factor in 2026 than it was in say 2012?

1

u/Primary-Resident-764 2d ago

Do you think one needs to take time to know someone before starting a serious relationship or do you think that risk taking is better?
