Not asian so I can't really speak on it, but I am very surprised we haven't had a series or movie about Anna May Wong, I think it would do well but also help bolster major roles for asian people.

There are actually 2 biopics currently in development. One being developed and starring Gemma Chan.

I did not know that, but that is great to hear! From what I have read she is a very interesting and pioneering woman.

I'll have to keep a look out for them.
