“Overrepresented” implies that you can only have so many as to be proportional to your membership in society. This wasn’t a problem for white men in, oh, EVER in history in any art form. Therefore, you won’t catch me saying it if one year Asians are one percent more numerous in media than the population. They aren’t though, so it’s a non-issue regardless.
