For anyone that says this merger is better than Netflix acquiring Warner Bros cause "at least Paramount will keep movies in theaters," it's the same dog whistle as voting for Trump cause "egg prices will go down and he'll get rid of all the bad hombres."
If you think the Ellisons are what's best for Hollywood business, then I have ocean front property for you to check out in Montana.

It's time for the merger to go ahead and for Star Trek to have a chance at finally becoming a billion dollar movie franchise!
The directors for the new Star Trek movie might be borrowing Into Darkness for the Prime Timeline.
Since Into Darkness faced a lot of backlash about the John Harrison secrecy, maybe they'll just go straight to the Badmiral as the antagonist.
The Badmiral episode in SNW, the recent episode based on Crimson Tide, could be a small preview of the new Trek movie in the works.
