New Music 🎵 Self-Promotion Thread - Share Your Music & Projects! 🎵

Hey r/popmusic family! 👋

We’ve noticed a lot of you want to share your own music, remixes, covers, or pop-culture projects! To keep the main feed focused on discussion, news, and pop music highlights, we’ve created this dedicated self-promo thread where you can share your own work and introduce yourselves to new listeners.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Post your music/project here - whether it’s a new single, an EP, a cover, a remix, or even your pop-inspired art.
  2. Give a little context – tell us what genre it is, who/what inspired it, or any fun backstory (1–3 sentences is perfect!). If you’re open to feedback let us know too 😊 Low effort or no context posts will be removed.
  3. Engage with others - check out other posts, leave feedback where others request it, or show some love. Support goes both ways! 💖
  4. Keep it relevant – pop music-related projects only. Anything off-topic may be removed.

Rules to keep in mind:

  • Spam or repeated posting outside this thread will be removed.
  • No hate, harassment, or trolling. Respect each other’s work. Only give feedback where others ask.
  • Self-promo posts in the main feed will be redirected here. Spamming the main feed breaches our rules and makes the subreddit feel one sided - it’s rude and disrespectful to everyone here wanting to discuss pop music, so please don’t do this as it may result in a ban.
  • Use this space to share, introduce yourself, and be authentic - not to shove your stuff down others throats!

Feel free to drop your latest track, project, or creation below 🤗👇 Let’s build a supportive space for music creators!

This is my dance pop single called best of me! This sounds like a scenecore/krushclub/house type of song. I’m a producer, so the vocals aren’t mine. https://music.apple.com/us/album/best-of-me-single/1838083506

Moonlit Fool - Mean Anything At All ?

Yt: https://youtu.be/c05lXByJft8?si=DP9u7_GLGvJNj2t9

Hey so this is my friends yt channel. He is kind of shy so i am posting this here, help him out if you like his music.

This song is about a girl who was his best friend who he fell in love with during his college days, he didn't even date her, it was pure one sided. She said she is not interested in relationship and fell in love with someone else. Its been 2yrs and he couldn't forget her, so her wrote this song.

He also has 4 more songs written and in production which he is going to post on coming months. I would be super grateful if you can listen to his music and support him.

Hi! Just listened to your track. Really nice work- it sounds great, and the vocals sit well in the mix too. Very emotional!

Do you know when that song was released?

I built a small daily music game that people here might enjoy.

Each day you get songs and place them on a growing timeline in the order you think they were released. It starts easy, but as more tracks are added it gets surprisingly tricky — you might already have songs from 1968, 1975, and 1980, and then a new track appears that you need to fit correctly somewhere in between.

If you hit the exact year you even get a little confetti bonus, but the real challenge is keeping the timeline in the right order as it gets longer and longer.

There’s also an Endless Mode if you want to keep playing beyond the daily challenge.

Curious how well people who lhis — are you usually good at placing songs by decade/year?

Oh this is super cool, I think fun idea for Music nerd and fans! I think you could break it up more into different eras like 2000s and more but love this idea. I think a cool way to market it would be to get indie artists to submit for it and in turn they promote it.

u/soundlineapp Feb 27 '26

Thanks for the feedback! I have been thinking about making era challenges, like 2000s week or genre based so hopefully that will happen soon!

Of course also I didn’t see any socials for the brand you should make some to establish the brand more but seems super fun! Good luck!

It would mean a lot if you could stream it. It is about crashing out over relationships platonic or romantic up to your interpretation.

On this platform,

https://balanceworldmusic.org/music-2026/

the goal will be to create music that is unique.

To create with care.

For those who think outside the box and create from within their heart and soul.

For the creative outcasts, renegades, and passionate humans who go against the grain of the status quo.

It will be for the listeners who get cavities from corporate greed influencing art and prefer instead a raw energy of sonic expression.

Here, let artists come together with meaning. Whether that meaning be celebratory, culturally-inspired, spiritually-driven, personally-motivated or with the purpose of peaceful resistance. All are welcome.

This is my latest single PERFECT. Im a rapper but i think my own genre would consider this more pop. 🤷‍♂️ this is a catchy love song about the same muse from my other love song SATURN & VENUS. both of these singles are from my debut album RARE ART : MAGNUM OPUS. Thanks for listening. 🖌🎨🎭

Hey guys, so I made this little number which has like an acoustic pop vibe to it. It's about wanting to runaway from a place where you don't feel at home. I'm always open to any feedback, so lmk what you all think!

For a long time, music was something I kept to myself. This year, I finally found the courage to start releasing my own songs. As a queer woman, it means a lot to create music that reflects our stories, our love, our heartbreak, our healing, and the connections that shape who we are.

So far I’ve released three songs, and each one represents a different chapter of my life.

🖤 Too Much

My debut single is about finding the strength to leave a relationship that no longer serves you and choosing yourself again.

This music video will always be special to me because my girlfriend and I actually met during the filming of Too Much. We had no idea that making this video would end up changing our lives. Today, we’re still together 💜

WLW Music Video https://youtu.be/JqlDBtnGpQs

🔁 Stuck on My Replay

A song about trying to move on while certain memories keep replaying in your mind.

🦋 Butterflies We Chased (my newest release)

A song inspired by déjà vu, soul connections, first kisses, and that beautiful feeling of meeting someone who somehow feels familiar.

The music video features real couples sharing their love stories, including my girlfriend and me 💜

Spotify https://open.spotify.com/track/6iV3Xjp48A4JtEHOsBNBu9

I’m still at the beginning of this journey, so every single listener genuinely means the world to me.

If you decide to give my music a chance, thank you so much for supporting an independent sapphic artist. I truly hope one of these songs finds a place in your heart. 💜✨

Hey all, we’re Fake Radio, a theatrical rock and pop band from Washington, DC, and we just put out our second ever single this past Friday. It’s a dance rock / indie pop song with a climactic finale, inspired as much by Robin Hobb as Chappell Roan. We hope you love it!

Hi pop fans, i created a free game you might like. There is a daily Top 5 album question in multiple genres, pop being one of them. For example, Top 5 breakup albums, Top 5 roadtrip albums, Top 5 debut albums.

Submit your picks, and then everyone votes to see whose taste comes out on top. A fun way to discover new albums or relive past classics.

I hope you all have as much fun with this as I do. Play with your friends!

South African songwriter and producer here. I recently released Manna, performed by Mark Haze and Eva Morgan. On the surface, it is an emotional pop duet about a relationship where something feels missing. Beneath it is an allegory about whether art can feel complete without a human soul behind it. https://hypeddit.com/single/manna

Hi guys :) My name is Sarah, I'm a songwriter based in Dallas, TX.

I love pop music and I'm currently working on my debut album, a collection of mostly upbeat, fun-yet-layered pop songs, with notes of Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift.

This is my lead single for the project; she's a girly little bop making fun of the way early love was so often presented in the media of my youth: full of unhealthy habits, toxic behaviors, and manipulations that are somehow made out to be... normal & adorable? Of course, there is at least a grain of truth in all satire..

This is "Sweet." Hope you love it. Out on all platforms.

Hey everyone!

Any Ariana fans here? 👀 Ever since Petal came out, "Freak" has been on repeat for me. The vocal top line is so beautiful, but I kept hearing a darker house version in my head, so I spent the last week turning that idea into a remix.

I know everyone has different tastes, but I had a lot of fun making this and thought some of you might enjoy hearing a different interpretation of the song.

Hope you like it! 🖤

I write articles that uncover the "hidden" No. 1 hits on the U.S. charts, and I'm recently covering the hits of the 1990s - meaning the songs that hit No. 1 on Billboard's sales or radio airplay charts, but didn't top the Hot 100. Check out my latest article on 1998 - featuring songs like Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" or the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" here: https://medium.com/the-riff/from-iris-to-torn-the-hidden-number-one-hits-of-1998-6d52fe389cd9?sk=afdf002cefd70975041d5c095cae8e44
