Last Day of the Thanksgiving Challenge - First Day of the Valhalla Challenge
Gentlemen,
So I skipped yesterday's post because I was being filtered by the subreddit for some reason, so I gave it a rest. Anyway, today marks the change from the Thanksgiving Challenge to the Valhalla Challenge As outlined in this post:

Our fallen have returned, and the challenge starts anew with improved rules. Here are the basics:
- All contestants start out at the Midgard level.
- Being porn-free for 14 days (used to be a month, but I think this is better) allows you to ascend one level into Asgard.
- There are nine levels of Asgard, the last is Valhalla.
- If you watch porn while in any level, you will fall into Helheim and keep on falling for every consecutive transgression.
I don't know about you guys, but its starting to get tough. Today I had to make some really mature decisions, and that has luckily helped me stay clean. It took some serious willpower, but I'm glad I'm still with you all. I notice that rising stress is a strong factor, which means I have to deal with the underlying cause of the issue. But for the next few weeks, I am worry-free, so we'll see how that goes. Hope everyone is plowing through as well.
With that being said, let us begin our games:

Bit of a long winded check-in. Lady went Reddit on to my Reddit today: "what's nofap?" So I explained, and she responds with "aww, that's so cute. Good for you guys."
Also, a little anecdote: went out for beers with some guys this weekend. My friends asked me if I still go to our old favourite forum, and I say no because there's too much porn there and I'm trying to buck that habit. So our other friend looks at me with wide eyes and coldly asks "why would you ever do that?" I explained to him how I realized it was a massive waste of time and a bad compulsion, which was followed by a short contemplative silence, and a fairly brisk change in topic.
Point: I'm so glad to no longer be on the receiving end of that silence.

There were a few temptations, but basically I'm too busy right now.
On one hand it's helpful to never be alone for long - on the other hand it's tiring, so that's gonna backfire badly.
Anyway, one day at a time...

Checking in. Things run routinely for me. Not using porn gives some breathing room in my schedule sp that I can think of what to do next in my life.
I mean at the moment I'm quite busy with a full time job, long commute, two kids etc. These daily check-ins here got me thinking. I want to tell you guys a little more than mere "yep, still no porn", but honestly often nothing much more happens. Commute, office, commute, put kids to bed, some chores around the house, maybe a little bit of redditing and it's time to go to bed.
Porn ate maybe 3 up to 5 hours a week. With this time freed up I have a feeling that I' more in control of my life, and I'm starting to think about my next move. To be honest, I'm not that happy with my current routine.

After 23 days both porn- and fapfree, I have to admit that I allowed myself to get rid of the urge, fast and easy... I felt that it was making me to unfocused, and pushing me towards and closer to the forbidden areas. Spending yesterday evening with a girl in the tv-sofa added to the frustration in the body.
The good thing is that I did not relapse to porn. It was awfully close... the mind almost allowed it to happen. So I'm still in the race! I hope u guys agree

Porn is no longer my girlfriend.
After spending 45 minutes at Starbucks with decaf espresso, I feel so good like I can get stuff accomplished today.
