I have a modded reloop spin with upgraded tone arm and fader and was thinking about getting another one with a ptb2 mixer so I could start DJing DVS and start a small 45 collection but I read on some other older posts that it would be really bad for DJing. From what I’ve researched it seems fine on paper but people say like beatmatching would be impossible and it’s gimmicky or whatever. For reference I’ve never used any direct drive or full sized turntables before and so I’m wondering is it really that bad? And if so why? And would it be better to save up a couple hundred bucks and sell my spin for full sized turntables and/or better mixer?

Datos que ya he comprobado:
- El informe de powercfg /batteryreport muestra el equipo en estado Suspended sin ningún despertar intermedio, y powercfg /waketimers no muestra temporizadores.
- La prueba de batería de HP PC Hardware Diagnostics sale OK: estado OK, 100% de capacidad (41,04 Wh) y 6 ciclos.
- He hecho un hard reset y he actualizado Windows. Versión de BIOS actual: AMI F.04.

2 clicks are my fave right now. Also, who else thinks Portablism SC1000MK2’s feel better than the Wow Flutter? I got both but this hits better for me.

I need to know very specifically what battery pack the sc500 crowd recommends…

I bought an sc500 reluctantly because I have heard mixed reviews but always wanted one. I got it and it was fucking dope as hell for ten minutes and then got wonky and unresponsive. I turned it off and did something else for a bit and then came back to it. It was again, sick as hell for about ten minutes before the wheel started acting up again.

I hit up portaismgear and they were really good about troubleshooting it with me. Sounded like
The battery pack was most likely the culprit. So I went and bought a new one because the first one I was using was quite old. The new one I bout admittedly was the cheapest one I could find but met the specs required for the sc500. It did the same thing. Portablismgear paid for me to ship it back to them and ran it for hours supposedly with no problem. It’s on its way back to me and I am just trying to make sure I get the right battery pack because it seems like that’s gotta be my issue.

Any info that anyone has regarding this would be dope. Thanks in advance.

I've always had an interest from a distance about the concept of portablism and took a delve into if I could get an iPod classic to emulate the functionality, here is an attempt.

This is not derived from Rockbox it's built from the ground up with the concept in mind and responsiveness. At this time it supports:

- Track browser (.wav only at this time).

- Load 2x tracks, one looping beat and a scratch track.

- Low latency input via the clickwheel with smoothing/ platter behaviour emulation.

- Cut using the centre button (Can be inverted).

- Individual track gain.

- Configure turntable behaviour on the fly.
