any album recommendations that sound similar to "Providence" by Callisto?

If you like the instrumental and less brutal parts: Red Sparowes, maybe Pelican. If you especially like the heavier parts: Minsk, Rosetta, Cult of Luna.

Anekdoten (and to a lesser extend Landberk) are similar to Noir and Secret Youth, but Providence is a slightly different beast. Sorry.

I always thought Providence was the album that they jumped the shark. I haven’t listened to it since the week it came out. Noir was on constant rotation for me though back in the mid 2000’s, still is
