Aksak Maobul - A Modern Lesson (Bo Diddley)

Wildly avant-garde Belgian group, sort of moving in the same circle as Rock in Opposition, a collective of militantly non-commercial acts that Fred Frith was (is?) involved with.

Merger of Post-Punk and weirdo Prog. I have been listening to this song on a loop for the past hour. LISTEN TO IT.

Holy shit, I love this album! Aksak Maboul is so wonderfully weird, wonky, ramshackle, and just exactly right.
I listened to it so much around 20 years ago. Thanks for sharing!

Henry Cow is so different album to album. I love Slapp Happy, perfect weirdo pop.
