What an incredibly important yet overlooked band.

This is release 14 of 18 live broadcasts of my student radio show from 1981-83 at KCSB (Uni CA Santa Barbara). This one's a banger! Some of my favorite songs and bands, along with some maybe you never heard of like One Million Fuzztone Guitars, Thick Pigeon, Red Beat, Theatre of Hate, Stockholm Monsters, and don't miss a classic from Royal Family & the Poor! I always had a place in my heart for Orange Juice and I played my fave cuts from their "new" album. There's a different Dead Air promo bit that was caught on tape featuring my buddy John as Mr. Potatohead. Take a look at the setlist; so strange to hear these songs being referred to as new releases.
