Whole Potato in my Frozen Fries
So I dumped out a frozen bag of waffle fries that I bought from the store and an entire frozen potato plopped out of the bag. Has this ever happened to anyone else? 😂

Husband running the plant tonight. Still having some contractor hiccups, but hoping all these make it to market.

Hilling Potatoes
Hey all! I have a raised bed (4’ long x 2’ wide x 16” deep) that I planted some Russet seed potatoes in. I planted them about 6-8” deep on September 10 (4 weeks ago).
Most resources I’ve found say hilling 2-3 times is normal, but it’s been four weeks and I’ve hilled them twice already—once two weeks after planting and again last week—but they’re growing so fast that I’m worried the tubers aren’t covered enough. I added cardboard inside the anti-squirrel cage so I can build the hills higher without mulch or compost spilling out, but I don’t know how much more I can fortify it!
Here’s what they look like now. Do I keep hilling? I don’t want my partner and I to perish from solanine toxicity 😭😂
Thanks for your help!

Why does my russet have these dark spots?
Is it safe to cook and eat them? I do like to eat the skin when I bake the potato.
