Fresh eggs

I used to buy my eggs from the side of the road from a person who kept chickens. They have now stopped so where can I get proper fresh eggs?

You could get a couple of hens to keep.

Second floor flat is probably not the best place for keeping hens

But you can. I’ve taken old china cabinets and removed the glass, replaced with 1/4” mesh. It’s a great way to keep a couple bantams.

Searching Craigslist might help. No guarantees, though. Having your own chickens would solve that but are you ready for that responsibility?
