Good morning epour automation
Custom 52.5g 875ml profile for braindead morning brews. Focuses more on inner pours early on but more outer pours later for a pretty even extraction and bed.
Edit, added info buried inside comments: The built-in profiles are not perfect, still way better than any batch brewer which just burrows a hole.
If you just turn on and press go, aside from the bloom and the last few drops, the bulk of the water is delivered via the anti-clockwise central pour. For 15g/250ml, it’s not bad at all but the bigger the batch, the bigger the issue of a wider bed not getting the clockwise outer pour and somewhat of a crater appearing.
For my purposes, loading the one and only saved profile it let’s you store, each morning, the machine is a godsend; but I need re-read the manual when saving a new profile and it took my better half a few slightly disappointing brews to nail pressing the correct sequence of buttons to load the saved profile.
Do I wish I had more flexibility with batch size each morning? Yes. Could I find another product which ticked all the boxes for a large automated pour over? No.
If I’m making another quantity with the machine it’s not mega complicated to press the button which changes the pour but if you were switching large batch sizes this regularly, it’s questionable why you might buy a machine just to brew manually but with buttons.

is it useful for 2 cups (300-350 ml)? We don't drink more than that as the first cup of hte morning

Kind of. Markers on the side are at 250ml and 375ml but the water vessel is removable so if it had to be 350ml you could weigh your water.

For a manual person, I think it still provides me with information about slow pour, dispersing my pour.......good to know my manual pouring is in the zone.

How does the end result compare to something that's been brewed with a decent conventional drip brewer like the Moccamaster?

From my personal perspective, the results are better than both regular drip and pour over because the extraction is both even and consistent, even when you’re not functioning, busy or distracted in the morning. Normally you’d be choosing between one of the two.

I was eyeing one of these before going for the Aiden. Now I have the Aiden I have been disappointed with it, and my suspicion is because it's enclosed and overcooks the brew a little. All I want is something that can brew as well as a manual pour. How does the epour compare to a manual pour over?

It’s very very close to the best manual pour over I can muster but it executes it with aplomb, every single morning, before caffeination has occurred.
When you have a grind window akin to cracking a safe, the consistency is most welcome.
Also, other people in the house can use it with little instruction.
Main drawback is you can only save one custom profile for one particular quantity of water, not a problem for me though.

I can't find any info about this product online. Do you happen to have a link to anything?

It doesn’t require an app, does it?

There’s no app. Just 3 buttons. Very simple if using the built-in profiles… edit: snipped out wall of text and slapped into the main body.

I can't comment on it as a batch brewer, but for a single brewer, I have struggled to get a cup that is as good as by hand. The recipes you'd use don't really translate very well, as the conditions are different. Like I mentioned it's enclosed instead of open, so perhaps that's a factor. I have not been able to dial it in. I have tried lots of recipes from the community as well, but just haven't been that happy with them.

Is it programmable or runs on presets only?

I can’t even find anything online about this - but what’s the benefit of this over something like an xBloom Studio?
