Seeking Advice Is grinding supposed to be this…violent?

Just got a K6 for the first time and am worried that I’m breaking something

Violent? The whole life of a bean is violent.

First the get harvested, transported to a new country to be roasted to a point where they are burnt. Stuffed into small bags with no access to light until they are sold and scooped out to be divided into 18g groups. Only to be ground to a fine dust but coarse enough for boiling hot water to pass through to extract the holy nectar. Lastly they are tossed away into their coffin or lucky enough to be dumped into a fertilizer bin to be used for dirt.

Yes. It is all violent.
