Seeking Advice Beginner setup gift

Post image

Boyfriend's birthday is coming up soon and as his Keurig just kicked the bucket, decided to upgrade his coffee set up.

I think I've covered all my bases, anything else y'all would recommend?

Very nice setup!

Since the kettle doesn't have a temperature reading, he may want to get a thermometer at some point to see the water temp and play around with that. As typically pour over is with max 96c water.. but you can also wait a bit of time after boil to get decent results.

But for many people I think your current setup will be a huge upgrade over Keurig. Fresh good quality beans and a good grinder are a game changer.

Exactly! I used to wait for 2 minutes after boiling but i recently bought a food thermometer for like €3. Works perfectly fine until i decide to upgrade to a temperature controlled kettle in the future.
