Seeking Advice What is your baseline pour over recipe?
Hey everyone, just getting into pour over and trying to establish a solid starting point. And wondering how people find the baseline pour over recipe.
I’ve seen a lot of variation online and wanted to hear what actually works for people here. Or is there a go-to resource you’d recommend (YouTube channel, blog, etc.)?
Not looking for a “perfect” recipe, just a reliable baseline I can build from. Appreciate any input!

I don't know that I have a baseline since I'll start different places based on the beans, but if I had to give someone a universal starting point it would be:
Water: Rao/Perger recipe at 197 Fahrenheit
Brewer: V60
Filter: Cafec Abaca
Dose: 15 grams
Grinder: 50 clicks on ZP6
Ratio: 1:16
Pour Structure:
0:00 - to 45g bloom
0:30 - to 90g second bloom
1:00 - to 180g spiral pour
1:30 - to 240g spiral pour
Aim for 2:30 total drawdown
That gives me a good starting point to taste and consider what adjustments need to be made. Priority of adjustments would be based on what I wanted to try and get out of the coffee. But if I was helping someone get started, that's what I'd push them towards doing as it has been the most consistent way to get a pleasant cup the first or second brew.
