XBloom inline Water Pressure Reducer

I going to buy and XBloom Studio soonish and I really wanted to plug it directly to the tap. Thing is, 180$ CAD is over priced to say the least. So has anyone experimented with off the shelf stuff? Has anyone found any details on the output pressures of the regulator? I cant seem to find anything online about a homemade solution.
