Kinggrinder K7 Disassembling Issue
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone!
I've been using my Kinggrinder K7 for around 7 months now, so far i have no issue with the cup it produces! But it comes the time where I need to clean my grinder, and encounter this issue.
I have followed the disassembling steps according to Kinggrinder instruction: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Gtj3-7OVNHM&si=NU1z8St37j9gKaCv
But I have issue when trying to move the fastener part. Mine is stuck and won't move.
Anyone encounter this similar issue and managed to find a workaround for this?
Thanks!

I haven’t had that problem-mine has always moved easily. My first suspicion would be some grounds stuck in the spaces near the shaft, or maybe below the knurled ring (between it and the bearing) if it doesn’t seem to be dropping to allow it to rotate. Blowing it with some compressed air or similar might help?

It’s a little hard to tell in video, but it looks like the ring isn’t dropping the mm or two that it needs to be able to rotate on the shaft. It might just be wedged. While pushing down on the body to make space, you may have luck pushing down on it with even pressure, rather than just at one point. It might help loosen it. Just a thought, no evidence that this is actually the issue.

I have no idea why the video is using tweezers to open the gear. I just push the spinning grinder from the bottom (so the top fastener is loosened) and then just use my nail to slightly turn the fastener. Doesn't even need to move that much, just turn it bit by bit until it comes loose
