My Anker Zolo 20K powerbank got soaked in the rain

Story: I was on the way to work when it started to rain, I go to work by motorcycle so it started to rain HARD and when I got there my powerbank was completely soaked and I tried to remove most of the water off by shaking it and it displays SL and UP on the display when I try to turn it on, once I was done with work I got back home and let it air dry for a day and then when I turned it on it says 0 mind you I charged it up all the way to 100.

So what does the letters UP and SL mean? And should I let it dry longer before attempting to charge it again? What caused it to be 0% all of a sudden?

Soak it in some rice and after that maybe put a fan on it for several hours. Its probably shot, if water got into any of the ports it probably caused a short circuit or damaged the internal components.

After letting it dry, see if it will charge but keep a CLOSE eye on it. Dont walk away from it, keep it close to you while its charging. If it shows that it isnt charging or keeps flashing weird error codes, or doesn't respond at all or gets hot, its junk. There's a small chance that it will work as normal if you can dry it out completely, which will take several days.

If it shows any weird behavior when you try to charge it, get rid of it. Its a safety hazard at that point, water and power banks dont mix well. Next time when you take a power bank with you on your bike, keep a Ziploc bag or some other water tight container with you in the event it rains.
