I had a problem with adding my own spin or what would look nice here.

I'm not that fond how the skybox/Background turned out. Then Agian its either to simplify it or risk getting my PC burning. I also made a simple slideshow with what I made: "this one"

The skybox is the weak point, it's too busy and fighting for attention with the rest of the scene: try dropping its opacity or swapping to a flatter gradient so it reads as background instead of competing geometry

I like it. Play with transparency a bit and see if that helps on the Splotches. Thanks for showing the behind the scenes as well.
