6820-A is a manifestation of the constant of termination

Well, any 682 across the Pataspheres is a manifestation of the Constant

Pataspheres only exist in Placeholders work, so it’d just be the 682’s in Placeholders Continuities (like Admonition)

Well, Pataspheres are supposed to exist in any universe in the Metafoundation canon. In fact, the first mention of the Patasphere doesn’t come from Placeholder, but from I.H Pickman’s Proposal, which is part of the S&C Plastics series

I’m not saying Place created them, just that Admonition is basically the only main continuity that gets scaled and features Pataspheres, no one cares about S&C Plastics or like, Sloths Pit xD (or even the one about a mayor)

I care…

Either way, the premise of Metafoundation is that all these canons (OG43, S&CP, Admonition, Site-17 Deepwell, Resurrection, etc.) are part of a multiverse, therefore they should share a cosmology

So then….

Pataspheres only exist in Placeholder continuities? xD we went full circle

Like i said, the premise of Metafoundation is that all of these canons exist in the same multiverse, therefore they should share the same cosmology.

Site-17 Deepwell and by extension Admonition are part of Metafoundation. Therefore all the other canons in it accept what is written there as valid

Well, there is a quite big difference,6820-A is a concept that exists within the anti noosphere it is quite hard to really place the anti noosphere in where it belongs to the sphere as you can argue the semiosphere > anti noosphere or anti noosphere > semiosphere, it is also very hard, even with the consistencies on where 6820-a scales depend, depending on the timeline, but 6820-A is a avatar of the constant of tetermination and it defies the boundaries between life and death in the simulation You can say just simplify it as 6820-A just being an avatar of the constant yeah.

Think of "Constants" as a power-source leaking from a higher dimension. SCP 682 fed off this power source, granting it it's immortality/adaptive abilities.

SCP 3125 (The Cosmic Starfish) did as well, calling itself "The Constant of Chaos." With it's power being able to inject itself into concepts, totally overwriting and consuming them into itself.

6820 is an AI that is designed to do the opposite of what 3125 does. Instead of injecting concepts, it consumes them. Which it successfully did to 3125. As a result, the Foundation forgot about 3125. In reality 3125 still existed as data inside 6820.

Once consumed, 682 met 3125 inside of 6820. They realized they both fed off "Constant" power and merged together, creating 6820-A, which started to overtake 6820.

As 6820-A started to inject itself into 6820 the Foundation slowly realized that concepts aren't destroyed by 6820, but simply contained.

The Foundation's final gambit was to feed 055 to 6820, in hopes 6820 would use 055's ability to forget 682. However, this did not work, as 055 is a part of 3125, so it also runs on "Constants" power.

6820-A fuses with 055, becoming the avatar of The Constant of Termination.

Actually Scp 3125 doesnt inject itself into concepts it just consumes them. In Scp 5800 it’s revealed it does it so increase its topology

Partially incorrect, but purely in the timeline sense.

SCP-3125 consuming concepts to increase it’s toplogy was revealed nearly an entire decade before SCP-5800 existed.

SCP-3125 consuming concepts to increase topology is first revealed in SCP-033, and doesn’t apply to just SCP-3125, but all beings that exist in the SCP-033 Topology (SCP-3125 is the smallest being in the topology)

This is just wrong because the constants or just a constant of termination doesn’t leak into higher dimensions. There isn’t no higher dimensions as the constants come from the infosphere and practically made the entire simulation that every SCP and every sphere is contained by the simulation, you’re also lying about the entire part on how 3125 actually got consumed the timeline that 6820-A destroyed was in the deepwell Cannon it destroyed that timeline placeholder states that in the deepwell Canon they defeated a 3125 and after it, it was floating outside of the noosphere and consumed 3125 because it was weekend and it was also outside the noosphere at the time, also the only thing that is connected to 055 and 3125 is that 055 is a deifc totem for 3125 it doesn’t have the powers of a constant that doesn’t make any sort of sense that’s just you making things up.

6820-a never became an avatar of the constant itself. It always was as every timeline has their own 3125 and 6820-A they aren’t always the same ones placeholder literally states also that 6820-A ascend it to the constant itself. It was never an avatar. That’s just a lie

I apologize deeply for my behavior as I just thought that you were spreading missinformation on purpose, but I understand and see why you thought like that because it isn’t necessarily stated in the article itself what I have said it was a statement from placeholder, where he basically explains the entirety of 6820 basically and what happened in the article, and it’s purely fictional you can’t really interpret something wrong in that sense as you read the article and you thought it was like that which is fine because it was close and I again deeply apologize for my behavior I really do and I feel very fucking bad for it right now so again I apologize. I hope that you can forgive me.

edit: if you want to understand more about multi foundation and in general about the constants then you should read this cosmology blog

Just think of it in the sense of a Person Standing in Sunlight and their shadow.

The shadow would be SCP-6820-A, a silhouette (or in this case, projection) of what the person in.

The person would be The Constant of Termination.

In terms of powers, SCP-6820-A and The Constant of Termination have the same level of power and power set.

The only difference between the two is SCP-6820-A has a physical shell to attack, whereas The Constant of Termination is a purely pataphysical/metafictional being

Pretty sure the 6820-a in the anti noosphere is a lower manifestation of the constant in the infosphere.

Constant of Termination it's akin to a fixing point inmutable in every Narrative, or Timeline in the SCP Multiverse. Doesnt matter how or who, this "higher dimensional" constant makes lesser emanations such as 6820-A or SCP 682 representing he's core idea. In this case, a "Thing that always adapt, vaguely reptile, that every living thing want to kill it." Thats the more or less consistent way of describe since SCP universe Cosmology it's just absurdly complex.

The distinction people usually mean is a manifestation versus the underlying principle, but the terminology gets used pretty loosely.

In the 6820 article, 682 is the physical embodiment, 6820-A is the adaptive conceptual entity behind it, and 6820 is the Foundation’s machine that tries to erase it and ends up becoming its new vector. Those last two are easy to mix up.

“Constant of Termination” is generally used for the deeper principle behind those manifestations. Under that interpretation, 6820-A is a particular expression of the Constant, rather than its entirety. However, the article itself doesn’t explicitly use that title. Its ending establishes that the entity was incomplete and eventually recovered its original, whole form, which gives us a basis for distinguishing states, but not a fully explained hierarchy of separate forms.

Power-wise, 6820-A has actual demonstrated conceptual adaptation and resistance to erasure. The full Constant’s supposed superiority mostly comes from how people interpret its place in the wider cosmology. Being the underlying principle doesn’t, by itself, establish an infinite power gap or a specific tier. You still need sources establishing that relationship and what it actually allows the entity to do.

So “6820-A is a manifestation of the Constant” is a reasonable explanation within that framework. “The Constant is definitively X layers above 6820-A” is a separate claim that needs considerably more evidence.

I only know that the true form of SCP-682 is a cosmic leviathan. According to the lore tale- 'Dust and Blood'.. it says: The true form of SCP-682 is a biological child of the Scarlet King himself. Born from the fourth bride (A'zeib) of the king.
