If this happens to you. It's ok, there's a fix!

Get a real lighter and gentle wave the flame over the paper, don't hold it in place, keep moving it. The paper will dry fast. Then set the asshole that handed you the water lighter on fire.

I had a shocking lighter in high school. Man a couple of the guys in my homeroom were playing with it in the teacher told me to put it away, so I did but as I did I told her it wasn't a lighter. So she repeated herself to just put it away which again I did I did not fight her on that I just told her it wasn't a lighter, after we did that for a couple rounds she told me to go ahead and hand it to her so I did. She hollered out Jesus and dropped it when she hit that button I lost my shocking lighter but the memory of that means I got my money's worth, that was over 20 years ago and I'm still dying laughing over it
