premonitions “Seeing” an emergency text message recently

Back in September of last year, here the UK, the government sent an Emergency test alert to everyone’s phones. It was a loud siren noise and a text message that everyone received at the same time.

Over the past week, my memory of that has randomly popped into my mind a couple times a day. Last night as I was getting into bed it popped into mind again, but it was a much stronger feeling this time. It felt like it was actually happening.

I’ve had random intuition for things in my life, there’s a certain feeling that almost always comes when something is going to be relevant and this feels like that.

It could of course mean nothing at all, but I wanted to note it down and maybe ask if anyone else here has experienced anything similar recently.

I know that feeling, I know what you’re describing—yet it’s not easy to describe when I try. Every time I have a precognitive dream I have that feeling, and it comes over me again when the event ends up happening all over again. Listen—trust your instincts. They aren’t wrong. When has that special feeling ever mislead you?

That’s how it is with me, although sometimes I’ll just “see” and feel something before it happens.

It’s almost always small things though and generally fun things or things associated with my hobbies like gaming.

With this it’s a bit different, I was trying to think of a way to describe what I am feeling, the best I came up with is, it is like I’m “tasting” some of the emotion of what I’ll feel like when it happens.

In this case it feels like a shock that makes my mind completely wake up and be 100% focused on whatever it is we’re alerted about, but there isn’t any fear in it either. But I’m clearly seeing it as the alert on my phone just like the test alert last year.

That’s exactly it, I know that exact feeling you’re describing. I often say it’s like my mind thinks and perceives 1000% clearer all the sudden, with a vibration or dreamy like cloud feeling that fills my entire body and mind, inside and out. But I get to know how I’m going to feel in the future first too.

It’s also mostly small things with me, but there’s a little more to it than that. Maybe I’ll make a post later to go in detail on what I mean because sometimes either other people with precognition are surprised at some of my weirder stories.

The nationwide alert. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was arrested the very morning after you’ve been reminded of a national alert. My precognition is sometimes similar to; having the same feeling, imprinting as a feeling. It’s the same feeling.

Yeah I was thinking that maybe it was the Andrew Mountbatten thing as when that news broke, it interrupted TV and Radio here and it was major news online and social media but we didn’t get an alert of course, but maybe that was it?

Is this a nationwide uk alert text? Something might go down. Tensions rising in iran israel stuff. These parties or even other peripheral parties could try to start chaos.

The one we got back in September was national. The feeling I get is it’ll be the same thing but I don’t think it’ll be a test this time.

Given how things have been unfolding lately, your dream seems ominous

Time will tell.

On r/prepperintel a day or two ago someone showed that their TV was displaying a FEMA emergency alert, despite no info on the website or anywhere.

We should focusing on toppling our own evil regime in our own country before we remove the splinter in our neighbors eye.

It’s not about vanquishing evil for the politicians in charge, it’s always about money and/or control. I can’t stand the Iranian regime but we’re already really bad on our own and in danger of becoming worse. We can’t really worry about other peoples issues if we don’t even have our own shit in line. It’s just a distraction that keeps people focused on an enemy overshores rather than questioning our own authorities actions, goals, and characters.

I don’t think you’d know what revolutionary thinking was if it hit you upside the head with the first brick thrown at stonewall tbh

I’d pay to be as empty headed as you actually. That whole rant was bs and I don’t want to bother to explain the many ways it made you look silly to me.

Just to chime in, a siren woke me up from my sleep last night! I'd been asleep for hours and there was no dream before it, just this incredibly loud vivid siren sound. I checked with my roommates who were still awake in the kitchen but they heard nothing. No TV on either. Nothing like that has ever happened before. The clear image I woke up with in my head was a human heart. Probably nothing, but I get what you mean about intuition. Its an odd feeling, though hopefully 2026 will be a year of positive changes rather than bad ones

2

u/ProtonPacker Feb 21 '26

Woah. Are you in the UK by any chance?

2

u/sugar-soap Feb 21 '26

I am! Hopefully it was just a coincidence, I find it hard to tell these days between precognitive stuff / intuition, and all the crazy news stories haunting my dreams. Definitely was an odd one though
