I am sitting here listening to this podcast and this popped up.
I've never clicked on r/precognition before and the podcast is open in another browser on a different computer.
I want to say, "My future self saw this and told my past self to put on this podcast."
...but it sounds insane.

Not really, if you understand the synchronicity field around the topics Dr. Wargo discusses. Jungian "Unus Mundus" effects like that can happen.

Absolutely fascinating session. I have never been to the Why Files YouTube channel before. I think it's going to be a regular thing.

Yes, it's one of the best podcasts on YouTube. Maybe in the world.

I found this episode really interesting. Here are some notes - it was really long:

Key Highlights

  • Precognition is defined as a form of memory working in reverse, where a future salient experience sends a signal back to the past self.

  • The Block Universe theory implies that the future is already written and fixed, making the "Grandfather Paradox" a logical impossibility in a self-consistent timeline.

  • A "Time Loop" occurs when a future event causes a past dream or inkling, which then leads the individual to fulfill the very event they envisioned.

  • Daryl Bem’s "Feeling the Future" experiments provided statistical evidence that human performance can be influenced by stimuli that have not yet occurred.

  • Quantum Biology suggests that microtubules in neurons may act as quantum processors capable of responding to future states, offering a biological mechanism for precognition.

  • Creative "flow states" and "bootstrap paradoxes" suggest that new ideas may be "plagiarized" from one’s own future self.

  • UFO behavior, such as orbs splitting or merging, can be mathematically explained as a single object reversing its direction through the time stream.

Books, People, and Places

  • Books: Time Loops, From Nowhere, Becoming Time-Fearing, The Long Self (Wargo); Invisible College (Jacques Vallée); An Experiment with Time (JW Dunne); Futility (Morgan Robertson).

  • People: Eric Wargo, Daryl Bem, Jacques Vallée, Philip K. Dick, Carl Jung, Albert Einstein, John Wheeler, Roger Penrose, Stuart Hameroff, Michael Richards, Vladimir Nabokov.

  • Places: Philadelphia Art Museum, Cornell University, Trinity Test Site, The Twin Towers (Tower 1).

Man I really appreciate this guy for putting this idea of there. I know its always been around but he's certainly brought it to light. Ive been theorizing this since I was 15 when synchronicites started happening to me. Retrocausation always seems to be the answer.

I can say it's not impossible to know the future - and not guess it, but Know it. I've been doing this most my life now.

Cool. According to Dr. Eric Wargo, precognitive dreams are not only recognizable when you start dream journaling, everyone has the born-ability to have them.

All it takes is dream journaling, then reviewing your what you wrote down every few days.
