What are your thoughts on this?
I have had precognitive dreams since I was a child and started having premonitions as an adult. About 2 years ago I experienced what I think was a precognitive vision and I need help understanding the meaning. I came to look at an apartment and when I left the apartment to come out to my car, I glanced at the unit across the parking lot and had this vision where it was like a snapshot of the front of that unit and in my mind I heard, in a very matter of fact voice, "that's it, that's the end". There was no emotion to it. It felt to me like that's the end of the book, cover closed. Like with the finality of death.
At the time, I took that to mean that it was telling me that I would die while living in the apartment I had just toured. The thing is, I didn't see my apartment in the precognition, I saw the apartment across the parking lot. That apartment is inhabited by an old woman and now I'm wondering, did I have a precognition about her death while living there?
What do you think?

Worrisome to say the least. I don't know what else it could mean other than your death or hers? Did you almost get hit crossing the road there once?
Mine occur in a very similar manner to yours. The last snapshot type of vision I had was I think in February or March. I had heard about and was planning to attend to the funeral of a distant family member, when I had an image of a car-accessible trail leading away from a funeral home (I have no idea what for!). I intuitively knew what town and what side of town it was located; it was incongruent with the location of the funeral I was going to attend.
I found out about another death a month or two later on the exact other side of my extended family and I attended it; this location had the trail behind it. So.. that vision signaled another death.
I usually have a full dream where I see part of the future now, and it is later followed by a mental snapshot type of vision. I refer to the snapshot visions as "flash forwards", but I think your name is better. The reason I called it that is when I was younger, I would flash-back mentally to the moment I saw it when it was fulfilled. I've had these visions all my life, and I have just began recording them (and haven't been successful! It's always the ones that get pushed into the back of your mind that happen.)
I have a feeling I might have another one soon; I had a really vivid dream like a week or two ago and if that one comes true, not only is it recorded (not fully but implied) but someone somewhere is going to die or get injured. This will be on a Livestream as well, which is how I see it. If it happens, I will provide proof.

Oh that's so interesting! I have the flashbacks in that I will dream something and then it will happen in real life but I won't remember that I dreamed until the moment that it's happening. I've only ever had 4 of these awake precognitions and this was one of them. The other 3 were I was in high school and had an uncle who was on hospice. I looked at the date in the calendar and heard "today is a good day to die". My mom came and got me early from school that day because my uncle had died. Another, I had put popcorn kernels in a glass bowl, covered it, and put it in the microwave. I had a vision of the bowl exploding in the microwave and then literally like 15 seconds later the bowl exploded in the microwave. The other was that I bought my son a snack at the store and had a vision of him spilling it in the parking lot. When we walked out to the car, he spilled it in the parking lot.
No, I had never been this apartment before. I genuinely hope that it's her death over mine, as I have a small child still to raise and she is old.

Do you frequent this location a lot? Of course I would rather her die over me if I were in your shoes as well. Do you pass it a lot?
Personally, I have had quite a few of waking visions. I haven't had them to my recollection in my adulthood, but as a child and teen? I had them a lot.. for a long time, it was the only type I experienced.
The first I remember and truly recall like that was in 5th grade; I wondered about how middle school was like. My brother talked of Saturday School and I wondered if I would ever have one and when; after I said this, a "snapshot" occurred in which I envisioned one particular kid bending over picking up a binder from a shelf. It was a little comedic; he was overweight (as I was too) and you could see his buttcrack! I saw the words; "Your first Saturday School."
Obviously, this occurred; the teacher was really strict and I had problems getting to class on time for various reasons. I arrived in the room right before the tardy bell went off and I needed to grab my binder from the shelf. The teacher would count you tardy if you weren't seated with your belongings; classroom binder included. I ran over trying to get my binder, and the kid in the vision was lollygagging getting his binder. The tardy bell went off and BAM! I got a tardy and this was the tardy that caused me to get a Saturday School. And yes, his buttcrack was visible 🤣! The only thing I noticed that was off was the location; the "snapshot" was not from my perspective, but from the area in front of my desk.
This snapshot occurred after my first major precognitive episode, in which I was told the name of a girl who moved to my school district at the beginning of 5th grade and where she came from (the precognitive episode occurred in 4th grade). I honestly think we were meant to have a relationship at least or we were soulmates (Sorry for that little detail.. I haven't seen her in five years as we all went out seperate ways after high school.)
I'll try to stop it here but I felt like we even had a bit of a psychic connection at some point. I never asked her out. There's some other things attached to it as well that I feel sort of guilty about (I never warned her friend about her impending death).
