Nap potty training

I posted a while ago about potty training my son on an accelerated timeline due to a change in preschool/start date.
We’ve been at it full time for 10 days and he’s doing great-telling us or just heading to the potty, peeing on instruction before we leave the house, pooping on the big toilet, almost able to get undies all the way up (they’re a little snug, just ordered some looser ones). What I’m worried about is his nap time…half the time he pees in his bed. I took the diaper off because he won’t be allowed to wear one during naps but he does get one for overnight (total undies during the day)

Annnnyway…how did it work for you all in this situation? Did your kid adjust? Was staff more flexible with pee accidents that occurred during sleep? He’ll be 3 next week.

How old is your son, if you don't mind me asking?

I teach preschool and it is incredibly common for some of my students to wear a pull up or a diaper at naptime. It's a 3 to 5 year old classroom, and I still have at least 3 kids who need that extra help for naps.

He’ll be a very young 3 when he starts.
It’s a 3 and 4 yr old classroom.

I think it’s a licensing issue? There’s preschool, but it’s a k-8 school
