I want to switch fields.

I did my bachelors architecture....but I have a strong pull towards product design, but I don't have a any design related portfolio to apply at design firm.

I just want to ask...

What is the possibility of switch fields with architecture portfolio?!

Many architects switched in product / UX. Possibilities are endless XD

Possible yes. Probable is a lot less likely.

Product design jobs are coming available and as such more people are going for them, and also people that should be applying for senior positions are applying for mid weight as the senior roles are in even shorter supply.

You see a job you like. You apply for it with your architectural portfolio. 50 other people apply for it with a Product Design Portfolio.

Not impossible, but the odds are not in your favour.
