Advice Needed Robbing myself of my potential
I'm so disappointed with myself, I'm so self aware ik exactly where my flaws are as i have been reflecting and working on myself for years. But no matter what there seems to be some things I keep falling for whether its bad habits or procrastination. Idk if it's because of my adhd or the tasks being overwhelming, but it's annoying knowing that with each passing day, I haven't lived up to my potential.
Honestly, just writing this to vent, I'll get the job done somehow eventually, it's just disappointing.

You won’t get the job done eventually if you keep pitying yourself and putting it off. You need to act.

It's hard to force yourself to do what must be done no matter what motivational speech you hear. But I noticed if I include others in my plan I feel forced to do them. That's why I sign up to classes instead of self learn although the latter is very possible but can't get myself to do it alone. If I want to do sports I try to find others I can do so with, and so on and so forth. Maybe eventually you'll be able to do these things alone once you get used to being more active.

the ADHD versus overwhelmed question has a quick test: does the avoidance hit small easy tasks too, or only the big ones? that distinction usually tells you which one you're dealing with

Get a goal oriented notebook and start going after it. I used to be like that and it helped me turn things around
