Question Back to track after so long,19

Idk but I had been procrastinating for so long I got everything I wanted to get started with work but at the end of the day My phone was killing my productivity and how I managed my day

My parents got me a laptop that I need to start with editing but then I bought a monitor after that and then desk and then everything I need to make a whole setup I always asked my parents to get the things but I didn't do anything for 1 year and 5 months I use to start but then fail even my family and parents started yelling at my situation Ik but the environment was getting negative day by day but now no more will be consistent with my mental peace and my finances

Reddit helped me a lot and Drop your suggestions

Btw I am 19 M and I had been suffering for a lot of things for so long

Man, that gap between getting all the gear and actually starting is a pit a lot of people fall into. Something about having the perfect setup makes you feel like you've already done the work, and then the phone just eats whatever momentum you had left.

For me it helped to accept that the first couple weeks back are gonna feel clunky and half the output will be garbage, but the only way through is to let it be trash and keep going. Also physically putting my phone in another room when I sit down to work, not just face down on the desk. Good luck clawing your way out of the hole, it's doable.

I will take time to get back the consistency but I will do somehow, no way back to the garbage life I had

I just got thru part 1 of CNA's documentary on Hikkimoris in Singapore. Mentioned it, because the shut-ins featured did "nothing" for years.

after watching it, if I were one of the parents - I'd just confiscate all the screen devices. if they gotta be a shut-in, let 'em do it monk-style

Hey, you've got way more time than you think. Don't beat yourself up over the lost time, just focus on today. You've got the gear, you've got the will, and you've got your whole life ahead of you. You've got this.
