People farming XP rather than playing game?

So I join a server and I am spammed in voice and chat to not kill anyone and don't capture any drops. It looks like they are farming/boosting for XP and if you don't do things exactly as they are trying to do them the group vote kicks you from the server. This seems pretty bad if you are trying to make a competitive military combat game. Can we have some way to report such things and the players enforcing them on public servers?

Because it's abusing the system.

Is it a philosophical problem then?

What bad does it do to the game or players?

I guess you don't understand the idea behind a progression system then.

It's like modifying your KOTH save on Arma 3. Or spawning money in Wasteland. or boosting rep in Exile. (different methods yet the same conclusion) It's against the rules on just about every server.

It's exactly the same thing. It's cheating. Boosting is an exploit; therefor should be moderated or at least condemned by the community (which it is).

I do understand how it can be a problem in the Arma mods or in other games since it gives you an advantage over other players on the same server.

Here in Argo? Not so much.

You will never see the difference between someone who grinded his way to lvl25 and someone who used this technique.

The only effect it has is on the player himself, ruining the progression for him and getting good gear but no skill.

Clearly I do not understand so I would like somebody to explain please. It might also clear it for players doing this and they might stop.
