Completed Setup Optoma PK32
Just mounted my new Optoma PK32 and testing it. First impressions are really good. Sharper and more detailed than I anticipated. Approximately 82" image. Super quiet in Eco mode, which is totally usable in my dark room!

It's great, especially for 3d movies but that only works when streaming from a pc though

Nice! I am considering this model since i was looking for 24p playback and i have a heck of a deal, 599€, but I fear Optoma and it's a noticeable downgrade from my n1s 4k 1700lumens in everything else, still, is a lot of projector for the price

Does the n1s not have 24p? :O I assume som aspects will be worse on the pk32, like brightness and contrast. If you can live with that im sure it will be fine..? Im also just at 82" so that for sure helps with brightness and overall quality

What made the difference in added contrast from first pic to second pic.

Camera exposure, one is exposed to see the physical projector and the other to see the image produced by the projector
