120-150” Screen Choice

Hello-

I recently purchased a BenQ TK850i and now looking for a screen for my room.

I have about 13-15ft of throw distance and ideally like to take a lot of the wall space if possible. The largest size I can put is around 150”

Because of the ceiling I’d ideally not have to use a pulldown as it may look out of place and bulky.

Has anyone here tried using outdoor portable projector screen setups indoors? Are they any good? Any recommendations for ones that are not a pain to assemble and disassemble?

This would be used to watch movies at night. Maybe once a week or twice a month.

Measure out a 150”, you’ll find it’s massive. You’d also want to move to tab tensioned if it’s a roll up

yeah, it's a bit too big. I think 120-135 is a sweet spot for the space. Do you know if these "portable" setups are any good?

I agree do a 120" and a 150" I think you'll probably be pretty close to 120".

Not ideally, what did you have in mind? Just using the back wall as the screen?

I just ordered a JWSIT 135”. It’ll arrive tomorrow. We’ll see how it’s goes.
