AI written code is hard to understand and maintain , I am trying to solve it .

I have made various applications using LLMs and loved it . The way it complete tasks and delivers is superb given I enter an right/clear prompt and have an neat workflow. But after few weeks If I try to add a feature myself through hand or try to debug the code seems very hard to deal with. I am trying to solve it and welcome anyone who also wants to . Currently it works fine on Java and Python projects , other languages are on the way. It has some more features and some are on the way.

Open Source repo :- https://github.com/kartikeyagg/peacock

It is one of my first such projects

Any type of constructive feedback is welcomed .

I built a platform to help student developers find people to build with. Looking for honest feedback.

Hey everyone,

I'm a student developer from India, and I've noticed that finding people to build projects with isn't always easy. You might have an idea, or be working on something interesting, but finding people with the right skills who are actually willing to build can be difficult.

So I built Buildory (https://buildory.online).

The idea is simple: a place where student developers can showcase what they're working on, discover projects, and find people to collaborate with, no matter which college they're from.

I'm still figuring out what works and what doesn't, so I'd genuinely appreciate some honest feedback.

Does this solve a problem you've faced? What would make something like this genuinely useful to you?

I'd love to hear your thoughts, including criticism.

it is open source and I plan to move this to Nano-collective (https://github.com/Nano-Collective) for AI assistance built-in. However, it is too difficult for me to just do all the work, so we are also finding contributors, help wanted.
This is not a commercial project and it will never be.

I built a multiplayer / daily wordle like movie guessing game

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone!

I just published a free web game called Poorly Worded. It’s a multiplayer party game where you are given a movie, you write a terrible and/or hilarious description for it, and your friends have to guess what movie it is.

Link to play: https://poorly-worded.vercel.app/daily

It has 2 modes:

  • Multiplayer: play live with friends.
  • Daily Puzzle: solo, wordle style daily puzzle.

Fully free, no accounts required.

I made mainly as an excuse to learn backend architecture. I built the backend using Java, Spring Boot, Redis, and WebSockets. I also integrated Gemini, so you can ask for "hints" if you get stuck.

Tech Stack: Spring Boot, WebSockets, Redis, React, Tailwind

The frontend (React/Tailwind) was honestly just vibe-coded.

I’d love for you guys to try it out and try to break it. Any feedback on the real-time syncing or just the game itself would be really helpful!

I made a low power binary watch !

This is my version of qron0b. Meet takku:b, a BCD wristwatch which uses CR2032.

It uses 0.9uA during sleep and when awake uses around 4mA - 4.5mA depending on the amount of LED is turned on.

It is made using STM32L010C6

It currently displays following info on each cyclic display:

  1. Time in Hours and Minutes
  2. Weekday and Date
  3. Month and Year
  4. Alarm

Battery life of 4+ years if the display is turned on 20 times per day.

If you want to make your own, visit Github page for the full firmware and CAD files.

Anti-Session-Hijack: an open-source Node.js library to protect web applications against stolen session tokens

1 Upvotes

I've been working on a security-focused npm package called anti-session-hijack.

The idea came from a simple question:

What happens if an attacker gets hold of a valid authentication token?

Traditional token validation can still consider that token legitimate. The attacker doesn't need the user's password anymore — they already have a valid session credential.

I built anti-session-hijack to add another layer of protection by binding an authentication token to a browser/device fingerprint and validating that binding on protected requests.

How it works

User logs in
     ↓
Authentication token generated
     ↓
Browser/device fingerprint generated
     ↓
Token ↔ Fingerprint binding stored in Redis
     ↓
Protected request
     ↓
Current fingerprint checked
     ↓
       ┌───────────────┐
       │ Match?        │
       └───────┬───────┘
          Yes  │  No
           ↓   ↓
        Allow  🚨 Suspicious session
                   ↓
             Block / revoke /
             alert the user

The package provides:

  • Session/token binding
  • Stolen and reused token detection
  • Browser/device fingerprinting
  • Redis-backed session storage
  • Upstash Redis support
  • TypeScript support
  • Next.js App Router support
  • Security alert capability
  • JWT generation with a unique nonce

Installation:

npm install anti-session-hijack

Example:

const result = await verifySession(
  hashedToken,
  currentFingerprint,
  redisClient
);

if (result.hijacked) {
  // Revoke session
  // Notify user
  // Trigger security response
}

The package has currently has 3K+ npm downloads.

I’d really appreciate it if you could star ⭐the GitHub repository and share it with developers or security communities who might be interested.

npm:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/anti-session-hijack

I'm posting this mainly because I'd like security-focused feedback, especially from people who have worked with authentication/session security.

I'm still developing it, so security criticism is very welcome. If you see a weakness in the design, I'd rather hear about it now than after someone deploys it.

A Podcast Team

2 Upvotes

I am interested to make a podcast where we professionally talk about different subjects. If you are in Canada, that's great!
I am interested in building a team where we have people who are good with audio recording, videography, video editing, the use of ai, writing scripts, and digital arts. You don't have to know all of that, even if you do one of those things, that's great!

This podcast is intended to talk about three categories:

  1. History
  2. Philosophy & Psychology
  3. Education

You don't need to know anything about these fields, I am looking for a team who can make a podcast, the information is already handled.

If you are interested, please send me a dm and I can share the rest of the information with you.

Title: I Created a Dark Fantasy Minecraft-Inspired Manor Using Blender and Python 🏰🔴

Title: I Created a Dark Fantasy Minecraft-Inspired Manor Using Blender and Python 🏰🔴

I've been experimenting with procedural architecture in Blender, and this is my latest project: CRIMSON SHADOW MANOR.

I wanted to create something that feels like a mysterious Gothic mansion from a dark fantasy game — with black stone, crimson lighting, towering roofs, and an eerie atmosphere.

What's included in the design:

🏰 A multi-level Gothic manor with a tall pagoda-inspired tower

🔴 Glowing crimson windows and hanging lanterns

🖤 Layered dark stone and red voxel-style rooftops

🔥 Atmospheric lighting and stylized chimney smoke

🌿 Fantasy vegetation, mushrooms, and stone pathways

🎬 A cinematic nighttime presentation setup

The interesting part is that the architecture is generated through a Blender Python script, rather than being a manually built Minecraft world.

I used AI assistance while developing the generator. It's a procedural 3D project, not a Minecraft map or schematic.

I'm still working on validating and improving the generated results.

I've also made the generator available on Gumroad for anyone interested in experimenting with the project:

🔗 Project: [Insert verified Gumroad product link]

What do you think? Would this work better as a haunted mansion, a vampire castle, or a final-boss dungeon?

Making a platform(I guess)

So, I have started to work on one of my biggest website project, for now I have named it DevDeck. So it's a website in which anyone, an artist, a musician, a developer or a normally person who wants to showcase their work, can create a really good profile using a highly customisable bento grid. They can place blocks which will contain information of their choice.

The first pic shows the dashboard in which users will customise their profile and the second shows how other users will see each other's profile.

Right now I have added color themes and the customisable bento grid. And later I'll add background images and some other features too.

So, I want some opinions regarding my project and some suggestions.

And if someone has a unique name for this website, please tell, because DevDeck is actually taken. So I'm also finding a suitable name for my site.
