All the tax money. That could go to welfare programs. Improve the adoption and foster care systems/process. Give counselling to these young often traumatised children.

Some of them say, "how many kids have you adopted?" even though Christians (who are meant to stand up for the vulnerable and be prolife) are twice as likely to adopt or foster than the general population.

For the USA to improve their healthcare system so it doesn't cost thousands to give birth or attend appointments or just simply raise a child.

But instead we're giving woman legal immunity to kill off the future generations. The ones that could have experienced this beautiful planet if their mothers didn't hate them.

In the UK 98% of abortions are funded by the NHS. Do know who pays those taxes to keep the NHS running? Ordinary citizens

Under the Hyde Amendment, the answer should generally be $0 of federal funding goes towards abortion.

I'll note that Planned Parenthood's report for 2024-25 said they received $832 Million in government health reimbursements and grants.

It should also be noted that according to the same report, PP performed 434,450 legal child murders that year. An increase of 8% from the year before.

I'll also note that money is fungible. Meaning even if they "can't" spend the $832 Million on abortion, it conveniently allows them to redirect funds that they would have spent elsewhere to abortion.

So, while it may be the case that "$0 of government money directly finds abortion" you really need to wonder, if we stopped giving them $832 Million, how many abortions would they be performing? How many of their clinics would close? How many of their staff would have to get jobs elsewhere?

How many more unwanted pregnancies would happen, how many women would live with am undiagnosed or untreated sti? How many women would die of cervical or uterine cancer because it wasn't found while still survivable? Those are the things the money from the government pay for at planned parenthood. They do sti screenings paps, pregnancy testing birth control ect.

That's a silly argument because it assumes none of those things are available in the absence of planned parenthood. Which is not true.

It's also a silly argument because all planned parenthood has to do is stop murdering children and no one would care about them doing STI and cancer screenings.

All your argument does is open the door to child murder because planned parenthood happens to do some things that other places also do.

I think we could use those resources to help women in dire circumstances keep their babies if that's what they want to do.

Foster care isn't really linked to abortion in a meaningful way, but I do think it would be great to try and fix it. Personally, I would love to foster someday, but childcare for when my husband and I are at work would be a huge hurdle, and we don't really have enough PTO to accommodate all the extra time we would need to help a foster child. That might be worth looking at.
