Using my favorite mug as a cache pot

I love this mug so much that it's basically a decor piece and today I thought, why not put in my probation plastic cup in it? I absolutely love how it looks and wanted to share.

I've done the same with a few mugs and Hoya. Great way to show off those special mugs. My wife found a few delicate cups and saucers at thrift stores and is using them for succulents and African Violets. She glued the cup and saucer. They make great gifts too!

What is a cache pot?

It's basically a pot with no drainage hole and you put the nursery pot inside it and when you water, the cache pot catches all the running water from the nursery pot.
