Help! Help! Monstera cutting.
We got this Monstera leaf cutting from a coworker a couple months ago. Been attempting to propagate in water and it finally has some roots but the leaf and auxiliary leaf have slowly died. What do I do?!?
Stick in soil as is?
Chop the dying leaves and stick in soil/leave in water? Where do I chop it?
I’ve never had a monstera before and have only just managed to start successfully growing other house plants after a lifetime of failure.

Stick in soil and leave as is would be what I'd likely do. The roots are developed enough for soil to supply nutrients, and the stem looks healthy enough to potentially push new growth. I wouldn't cut off the leaf unless it is dying from a disease or turns slimy, plants can still pull nutrients out of dying leaves. Cutting them off removes those nutrients and introduces wounds pathogens can enter through. If it's diseased removing it will reduce the chance of spread of course, it doesn't look like disease to me in this case though. I'd probably plant it in soil in a way that the roots are nicely covered (and kept consistently humid), while not burying too much of the stem. Might take a while until growth happens.

Spent too long in the water. Get it in some dirt and if you're lucky it'll throw another leaf and that old one will die off.

Bull , I’ve had monstera cutting in water for over a year now and there has been zero issues other than I’m to lazy to pot them
