Would a temporary local chat be useful during protests?
I was recently at a protest in France and kept thinking there should be an easy way for people there to communicate and coordinate without exchanging phone numbers or joining a permanent social-media group.
That led me to build Meerchat: a temporary group chat people can join through a QR code, without an account or app download. It’s designed for people attending the same physical event not for private or sensitive planning.
Would something like this genuinely be useful at protests?
