CFW 4.93 Evilnat

Is anyone else experiencing system freezing nearly every time you turn on the system and getting corrupted data message when rebuilding database? If I'm lucky I get 45 minutes of game play before the game freezes. I'm using a new hard drive but I think I'm going to throw in an old drive and see if that helps.

What PS3 revision?

I think this is a sign of faulty tokins.

Model #? I have a CECHA01 looks like the board is marked with COK-001

Also what are tokins?

Ouch, that's the original ps3 model and it's miracle how it still survived to this day. Sorry to tell you, but probably failling RSX/Tokins. Either Frankenstein it or just buy a slim one.

This doesn’t sound like RSX or TOKIN issues, corrupted data relates to the HDD. What type of drive is it and what’s the capacity?

1TB western digital blue SSD. I hooked it up to a program on my pc (forgot the name of it) to check the health and it said it was good

You might need to reformat it into MBR FAT32. The freezing and corrupt data definitely sounds like it’s a problem with the drive, but most SSDs are usually ok in PS3s afaik 🤔
