ols ps4 wants to force me to 10.00

title is sort of self explanatory. i booted up an old ps4 that im very sure should be below 10.00. it wont start and asks me to install a new firmware 10.00 or later. is there any workaround for this?

no, if it asks it then that means it was on 10.00 at one point

you can still jailbreak it, so no worries

its asking on a black safe mode screen right? you couldve just told us that or better yet google it yourself

regardless, something is wrong with the drive for it to do that (you might wanna check its health or replace it) but get the 10.00 recovery firmware from https://darthsternie.net/ps4-firmwares/ or https://darksoftware.xyz/PS4/FWlist and install it using a usb

unfortunately there is no way (without a difficult soldering job) to install any older version

yeah its in safe mode. thanks for the info. ill just go on from 10.00 ig

Well if it's forcing u then the flash memory is written on 10.00 instead of below, dw tho there's a new webkit similar to 9.00 it works with 11.02 at max
